![]() A few people from Blessed Sacrament Parish joined others at St. Timothy Parish on Saturday, April 23 to participate in the Blanket Exercise with the goal of building a better understanding about our shared history as Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. We got a powerful sense of the wrongs that Indigenous people have suffered at the hands of the European colonists, something which continues to this day. It was a very emotional encounter and I would encourage everyone to take part in this exercise.
