Social Committee: Do you like to host? Do you like food and fun? Join and serve on our social committee. Help host community building events like after mass coffee and our parish picnic.
Social Justice: Serve the marginalized and those in need by joining our Social Justice Committee or being involved in the Transcona Food Bank or one of the many charities our parish supports. Check out 'Our Parish' and the social justice section for more information.
Liturgical Ministry: Proclaimers/Readers, Ushers, Mass Coordinators, Greeters, Servers. Buildings Committee: Serve Are you a bit handy or willing to learn>? Would you like to share your expertise and or handy work around the parish. The building committee performs odd jobs for maintenance, upkeep and a bit of comradery.
Church Building Renewal Committee: Expertise needed: As of November 2023, construction, carpets, painting, art & architecture.
Finance Council: Shepherds the financial and temporal goods of the parish. Oversees budgets and financials of building projects.
Pastoral Council: Do you have a heart for evangelization? Do you love our Church and seek to make it a more vibrant and inclusive community? Do you love God and want to serve by building discipleship for others? Pastoral Council steers the Mission and Vision of the Parish, providing leadership and guidance to the various ministries in the community.
Church Worship Space Cleaners : Serve by sharing your cleaning expertise Thursday Mornings from 10:00-12:00.
Parish Centre Cleaners: at any time of your convenience.
Youth Ministry: Serve as a youth leader in one of our youth groups. Gatherings Friday Evenings. Contact catechism@blessedsacramentwpg.ca
Catechism Program: Teachers and assistants.
Musicians and Leaders of Song: Do you play and instrument or sing? Join our inspirational music ministry! Serve God by leading others in harmony and praise!
