Dear parishioners and friends of Blessed Sacrament Parish,
I love the autumn season; the smells, the changing of the leaves, the crisp air. It is a season of harvest and gratitude. This weekend we celebrate as a society Thanksgiving. We have so much to be grateful for. All good things come from God! We lift up in thankfulness our families and friends, our homes and the food we share on the table. We offer praise for creation and all that is beautiful in the world. We are grateful for our faith and the Lord Jesus. There is so much more I know you bring in thankfulness. I am grateful for our parish. Blessed Sacrament is a great gift for me. The parish is life-giving, the people are friendly and fun, the music is great and there is a Transcona Spirit that can only be understood by coming to mass and experiencing it for yourself. I extend a warm and joy filled Thanksgiving to all of our parishioners and friends. Let us each lift up a harvest of praise to God. Fr. Kevin
