Guidelines for Sacramental Preparation
First Reconciliation
Children who are at least in Grade 2 and have met the minimum requirements for completing an ongoing catechesis program will be invited to prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Preparation usually takes place in the late September and the celebration of the sacrament is usually in December. The next First Reconciliation service will take place in December 2026.

First Communion
Children who are at least in Grade 3 and have met the minimum requirements for completing an ongoing catechesis program will be invited to prepare for First Communion. Preparation usually takes place in the late winter and the celebration of the Sacrament will be on June 7, 2026.

Confirmation
Children who are at least in Grade 6 and have met the minimum requirements for completing an ongoing catechesis program will be invited to prepare for Confirmation. Preparation usually takes place in the late winter and the celebration of the Sacrament usually occurs during the last week of May or early June.
